Writng Banner based upon Cosh outside Sydney

Caloosahatchee Manuscripts.

Both banners above are based on the sculpture by Jim Sanborn, titled Caloosahatchee Manuscripts. Florida Power & Light donated to the City of Fort Myers in 2001 and sits outside the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center.

There are two bronze cylinders that contain the text of a story told by Maskoki Indian leader Tchikilli to James Oglethorpe. The sculpture and words create a powerful presentation and tell a story. Because my words tell a story and I appreciate the concept of Jim Sanborn's Caloosahatchee Manuscripts, I based the banner on the sculpture.

Read the story by Tom Hall.

Here are two of my photographs while attending Fort Myers Art Walk Downtown, Ft Myers, Florida.

The text has been extracted and provides a very interesting perspective.

The image focus is on a section of text from the Caloosahatchee Manuscripts.
