Description:Pass-a-Grille is home to the Don CeSar “Pink Palace” Hotel along the Gulf of Mexico. I like to walk this area at different hours and in any weather condition. The hotel changes colors with the light and provides ample opportunity for “People watching.” Here, I observed a family reuniting later in life. Each blink of my eye snapped like the shutter, watching and waiting for the right moment to lift the camera. When they stopped to look at a shell, I knew this was the way life should be. |

Description:Best time to relax in the pool is early morning before the retirees arrive. After my swim, I balance on the pool’s safety rope divider and enjoy the still water. Often, I observe the float and rope. I take time to notice the forces on the divider, how the float and rope work as one and rope’s gentle arc. On the float, I notice dirt’s boundary and how water makes space for its shape and its reflection in the water. This is my moment of zen and what life should be like for us – to appreciate the detail around us. |

His work has been described as "Cutting edge" and as providing "An 'eye' for the unique and interesting." Much of his work revolves around fascination with nature's geometric patterns. His photography avoids digital manipulation. He believes work that has been digitally manipulated shifts it into photographic art and is a separate medium.
