Lead With Your Heart from Volume 4 — Romantic Interludes.
Lead with your heart and know what you want to believe possible is true Lead with your heart to find the strength so you can know this is true Lead with your heart to have the strength to come to me Lead with your heart to show me who you are and who you want to be Come to me so I may know you care Come to me and wrap me in your arms Come to me with your heart open so I may see this is true Come to me and let me feel your warmth See me for who I am See me as the one with whom you want to share your life See me reflect your heart in my eyes so you can begin to fathom what we are about See me open my arms and give you the sanctuary and peace that you have always wanted Hear me return the words you so desperately desire Hear my silence as my hands confirm your thoughts Hear me whisper the words, which you have longed to hear Hear my breaths and my heartbeat spiral out of control Hold me now and touch my nature Hold my body and know that I am real Hold me in your arms and feel me breathe Hold my soul because I have given it to you for safekeeping ~ Robert Neff � �	Volume 4 — Romantic Interludes. For reasons unknown to me, I saw a pattern develop over time where people just refused to communicate their desires or what was on the mind. They either became complacent or over sensitive. Instead of an open discussion, words were interpreted to be criticism. Life was lived in fear of an open dialogue. Romance was no longer spontaneous, fun or a way to exchange love The end result created an environment where people kept their feelings hidden or suppressed. The more I listened, the more I realized that romantic wants and needs were going unfulfilled. I concluded there were contributing factors such as society’s shackles, the conflicts institutions caused in our youth or the inability to free our body and spirit from internal or external fears. To compensate for this rain cloud, my mind filled with romantic thoughts. A scenario I envisioned, idle conversation or a situation I had observed, became the trigger. Whether these events actually occurred or not, did not matter, because my subconscious was busy weaving a story. Hence, my words prove that romance is alive and well practiced.
